answer:I do see the divide between the two major parties when discussing important issues and this is a direct result of what is important to the voters on each side. As I have said before, as a nation we can’t even agree on what is a problem let alone what it will take to resolve it. Apples and Oranges. Those independents in the middle have to decide which is more important in their lives. But. in this particular case I think it is fair to point out, as Peter Wehner said in the article, that what was discussed in the debate was a product of what questions were asked.
