I don’t see why not although depending on what you’re asking it might be better to post it in social but other than that go for it. Questions that provoke discussion are what this site is good at (in my humble opinion).

What you could do, when that user is commenting on your question and the answer is in any way not in accordance with the ... and use your mouse wheel to scroll the page twenty centimeters down and you can open your eyes again now.
