Wasp spray is basically worthless, Dish soap and water kills orange/yellow wasps on contact. Cheap, effective and non-toxic. Mix at about a 20:1 parts water to soap in a cheap sprayer or spray bottle. I mixed a small bucket full and cleaned my eaves, left a pile of dead wasps at the footing. None got up from that.
