I am not a doctor, but I wouldn’t expect Neosporin to slow healing at all. Wounds heal best when kept slightly moist, which ointments like Neosporin and Vaseline are good at doing. If it forms a scab it’s gotten too dry. Eat a lot of protein. You will heal much faster.
