“My friend is absolutely convinced we are alike. (From the same style of clothes to shows, games and movies) He suffers from depression and believes I do too.” That seems very weird… How do you go from having movies, clothes, other basic things in common to believing you have the same mental health issues? Maybe say something that you don’t have in common and say “well since it’s true for me it must be true to you” and see what he thinks if it isn’t true for him. If he keeps denying it well then you’ve proved your point.
