For those who have had the Covid infection. Did you lose the sense of smell?

I feel so sad for those people who have lost their sense of smell. It’s a terrifying aspect of getting the COVID 19 disease. The sense of smell is so important to navigating our world. Our nose is directly over our mouth to smell the food before we eat it to make sure it’s not rotten. Also it’s important to be able to detect smoke before the fire overtake the area.
