When a vessel containing a liquid is heated, the level of liquid initially falls and then rises up. Why does it happen so? OR Describe the irregular expansion of liquid.
On heating the liquid water from 0 degree C to 4 degree C, it contracts
so the level of liquid initially falls. But after 4 degree C it expands
so liquid rises up.
