Explain three phase bridge inverter.

1 Answer

Answer :

Three phase bridge inverter:

Three phase bridge inverter converts DC voltage input to three-phase variable frequency variable voltage output. DC voltage source can be a DC source or output of the rectifier. The three-phase variable frequency variable voltage output is used for high power applications. Three phase inverter is six step bridge inverter. For the required output, the thyristors firing should be done in proper sequence. Each step should be 600 interval. Each thyristor should be gated at the interval of 600 intervals in proper sequence. The switch may be thyristor or IGBT etc.
