Why are monolithic houses so attractive?

Monolithic structures are a fairly young and new type of construction, which, however, is very quickly conquering the modern real estate market. Today, the construction of monolithic houses is becoming a very popular and promising business. They even compete with time-tested brick houses. Many modern residential complexes, including the Slavyanka-Skolkovo residential complex, were built using this technology.

The monolith technology is pretty simple. In the formwork, reinforcement is installed, which is poured with concrete. When it hardens, the form is dismantled, transferred to a new floor and all actions are repeated. As a result, a frame is formed at the base of the piles.

There are two main types of monolithic houses: frame and brick.

Monolithic-frame buildings are based on a new construction technology. The frame is first assembled at the construction site, and then the walls are already built. All elements of the frame are made at the factory, and they are only assembled at the construction site. Monolithic brick houses are made of a frame and external brick walls with insulation. Sometimes aerated concrete is used as insulation.

Currently, monolithic houses are in popularity in the middle between panel houses and brick buildings. They have good sound insulation, in contrast to panel structures. Compared to brick buildings, monolithic buildings are much cheaper. This is an important factor for many people who dream of an apartment.
