Before you start fighting cockroaches in your kitchen, you must thoroughly wash all cabinets, drawers and far corners with detergent and wipe them dry. The same should be done with the table, sink and countertops. In addition, cockroaches can come from crevices and vents, so you will have to carefully seal them up.
All dry food stored in the kitchen must be packed in plastic bags. Pack some tissues and soft paper as they absorb odors well. When fighting cockroaches, the kitchen should be free of dirty dishes, and the sink and trash bin should be kept clean and dry, and then success is guaranteed.
Nowadays, the list of cockroach control tools is quite large: it can be houses, traps, gels, crayons, aerosols, "home" remedies, as well as special pest control services. Let's consider each option in more detail.
Traps
TrapsTraps are made in the form of small round boxes with entrances for cockroaches from different sides. The poison is located inside each box, cockroaches carry it to their relatives. The boxes are attached with Velcro to any convenient place. The most effective now are the "Combat", "Raptor" and "Raid" traps.
Small houses
Unlike traps, houses have a different shape and are made mainly of cardboard. The bait is placed inside the cardboard box, and the surface of the cardboard is made sticky. Thus, cockroaches crawl to the bait and stick, and after them new and new ones crawl, not paying attention to the stuck brothers. The houses are good in almost all types of construction, and they are also harmless to people and animals.
Gels
Gels are a fairly simple tool: they are sold in large syringes and are ready for immediate use. To use the gel, simply apply it in drops every 10cm around the perimeter of the entire room along the baseboard. The cockroaches will disappear within a week. The best results are shown by Raptor, Globol, Liquidator, Killer and Dohlox gels.
Crayons
CrayonsOnce a week, you can handle cracks, skirting boards and other similar places with special crayons. Cockroaches disappear after about a month. The most successful crayons for use are "Titanic" and "Mashenka".
Aerosols
This method is less effective; the supposed places where insects accumulate are usually sprayed with an aerosol: door frames, cracks, ventilation. "Baigon" and "Raid" are considered quite good, but the type of aerosol should be changed with sufficient frequency, as cockroaches quickly get used to it. Perhaps this is the most ineffective of the above.
You can also call in the cockroach service, which will carry out chemical treatment at home. It will take about an hour.
The methods are different, but they are all working. Choose the convenient one and good luck with getting rid of cockroaches!
