Bitterness of grown cucumbers

I have bitter cucumbers every year. What am I doing wrong? What causes the bitterness of cucumbers? Can't it be that I put them in direct sunlight where the whole prices were on the stove? Babča Šíla

Answer :

The bitterness of cucumbers is caused by the unevenness of their environment - large temperature differences between day and night, too much watering after too drying ... Or insufficient watering. ;-) If you can't grow ´normal´ cucumbers, get a ´non-bitter´ variety (´new bitter´).
