We have a meadow but it's like a swamp. Still water. Is there anything you can do about it?

Yes. Melioraci. Nothing else will help. Using a drainage pipe or an excavation poured with coarse gravel, draw the water to the lowest point and drain it from there. We solved a similar problem last year.
