Hello, I had the chainsaw repaired. Preliminary price for the repair approx. CZK 1,300. The crankshaft broke during the repair (allegedly a hidden defect). The question is who will pay for the repair?

Answer :

I don't think there is any way to protect the V-belt. There really could have been a hidden flaw. The owner will have to pay for the repair. Of course, it would be possible to defend the court, but in this case I see it as a battle lost in advance and the costs would be high.
