Many people believe that the bell will ring in the memory of János Hunyadi in Nándorfehérvár at all twelve Christian churches in the world. However, this is only partially true. For Pope Calixtus issued his charter on June 29, 1456, in which he ordered that the usual morning and evening bells be supplemented by noon, thus signaling to all believers the prayer for the salvation of those who fought against the Turks. But only three days after the wording of the diploma, the siege of Nándorfehérvár began on July 2 . On the news of his miraculous victory in Hunyadi, the Peacock ordered that the obligatory prayers said at noon be the prayers of Thanksgiving.
