I found this recipe in a very old cookbook called cold cherry soup and it tastes great to us. Give it a try. Ingredients: 1kg cherries 20 dkg sugar a little cinnamon lemon zest 2 dl sour cream 2 teaspoons flour 1 egg yolk 2 dl red **** a little salt Preparation: The cherries are pitted and cooked in 1.5 liters of water with a little salt, sugar, cinnamon and lemon. Make a smooth crumb with a deciliter of sour cream, flour and egg yolk, which is added to the soup while stirring constantly. Now add the other deciliter of sour cream mixed with the red **** to the soup and bring to a boil for another 10 minutes. Finally, except for the cinnamon and lemon zest, the soup is cooled and served cold.
