This New York-inspired sandwich is a bagel done best, lathered in lemon-infused cream cheese and topped with spicy smoked salmon. Serve this as part of your next brunch spread, alongside tall mimosas and fresh eggs.
Ingredients:
4 garlic, everything, or salt bagels, halved lengthwise
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
6 ounces smoked salmon or lox, sliced
¼ cup prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon minced fresh dill
Directions:
Spread cream cheese evenly over bottom halves of bagels. Top with grated zest and salmon slices. Spread horseradish evenly over top halves of bagels. Top with dill. Place bagel halves together and serve.
