What do single and dual channel mean for ram ??? ??

1 Answer

Answer :

Indicates whether the ram is communicating on 1 or 2 channels. 1 ram module can't communicate on only 1 channel, so if you want to put 8 giga ram in your machine, for example, it's a good idea to put a 2x4 giga in it so that they can run in dual channel mode, because they produce slightly faster operation.
