Basically, there are problems with BMW engines, not just diesel. I would never buy more BMWs in my life (I say that I also had 2 bmws for years). High maintenance costs, many problems, immature throughout. If you really want a BMW, buy some 6-cylinder petrol, that's probably less of a problem.
