Is it normal when I plug my ears, do I feel / "I hear" my heart beating?

"Yes. I can imagine 2 explanations. The earplug creates a connection between the drum in the ear and the blood vessels, so it can amplify the heartbeat. The other idea is that you have a voice even when" you don't hear "but the environment is much louder. So most of the noise in the environment is filtered out by the earplugs, and so it can be heard."
