A person who gives Azan is called a muezzin in the terminology of Shariah. Giving Azan is a very important and glorious act. On the Day of Resurrection, the muezzins will have a special status. On that day, the moon , the sun , the mountains , the rivers , the plants , the animals , the birds, and every animal and inanimate person to whom the call of the muezzin reached would testify for it. For the muezzin there are endless blessings , high status and good news of paradise. In verse 33 of Surah Ha-Meem Sejdar, the Almighty says , “Who is better than him ? Whoever calls to Allah , does good deeds and says , I am a Muslim. The virtue of Azan is: It is narrated on the authority of Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said : I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say : It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah bin' Abdur-Rahman bin Swasa'ah that Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) once said to him , " I see that you love goats and the desert." So when you are on your goat or in the desert and call to prayer, call to prayer aloud . Because as long as human-monsters and other objects can hear the muezzin's call to prayer , they will testify for it on the Day of Resurrection. Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) said : I heard it from the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him).
