Hemophilia is a hereditary disease in which abnormal bleeding occurs in different parts of the body due to prolonged blood clotting in the body. The severity of the disease can be different. For example, intense , moderate and mild. However, there are two types of the disease — hemophilia 'A' (deficiency of factor 8 , which is 10 per million) and hemophilia 'B' (deficiency of factor 9 , which is two per million). When this change is inherited , it is passed on from parents to children. Usually men get the disease or suffer from hemorrhagic problems and women have genetic characteristics of the disease but do not suffer from hemorrhagic problems. Most hemophilia symptoms appear in childhood. However, many may develop symptoms at an older age. Some symptoms usually appear from the age of six months after birth , when the baby learns to crawl. Some signs may indicate whether the newborn has hemophilia. Bleeding occurs even after cutting the vein after birth. If the child has this disease, he will get sore muscles while walking or playing. Bleeding inside the muscles causes the limbs to swell and feel pain. Internal bleeding results in pressure and erosion of the joints. Excessive bleeding occurs after circumcision of the baby. Symptoms of hemophilia include increased bleeding after being cut or injured , bleeding with the urethra, excessive bleeding in the event of an accident , or cutting off any part of the body.
