The HIV virus is capable of spreading roughly three types. 1) During sexual intercourse 2) Through blood lymph 3) Most cases of HIV transmission from mother to child are due to unprotected sex. HIV is not spread by air , water , food or ordinary touch. HIV is present in certain fluids in the human body (blood , semen , breast milk). As a result , HIV can be spread through the exchange of these fluids in the human body.
