Not only is a person infected with the corona virus , the virus is also spread from the body of an infected person. Therefore, the dead person in this disease cannot be cleaned or washed , nor can it be touched without safety measures. The official guidelines for the burial of a person who has died of coronary heart disease have been mentioned. The guideline has been developed in accordance with World Health Organization (WHO) protocol. The guidelines are designed to prevent the spread of additional virus infections from corpses , detailing each stage , including the collection , transportation and burial of corpses from hospitals or homes. According to the guidelines, in case of death due to corona or death of a suspect, the Government must report to the Institute of Pathology , Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) before commencement of removal , burial or burial . According to the organization's instructions , a four-member team will prepare the body for burial or burial in full protective clothing. The body should be wrapped with plastic cover at the place of death. The team leader will discuss with the family of the deceased if they have any specific request. It is also important to know where the burial will take place. In order to prevent the spread of the virus, the body cannot be bathed . And if there is a request from the family for shroud cloth, seamless white cotton cloth can be used as shroud cloth. The shroud cloth should be placed in a plastic bag and the body should be placed on it and the zipper of the bag should be fastened. Those who hold the corpse high while wearing the shroud in the bag must wear protective clothing. The instructions also say that for burial, all the pores of the body (nose , ears , anus, etc. ) should be closed well with cotton so that no liquid is spilled. The body will then be taken to the cemetery in the shortest possible time on a short route. The vehicle used in the transport was said to have to be handed over to the cremation team to ensure safety during the journey . The car used for transportation should have two parts. So that there is a protective glass or plastic cover between the driver and the transport compartment. The used vehicle should be disinfected after transportation. At this time, the person engaged in the work of disinfection must wear protective clothing. The bag carrying the corpse should never be opened during burial. After burial, the tomb or graveyard should be covered with a soil layer of 10-15 cm deep and the surroundings of the place of burial should be cleaned with suitable disinfectant. In addition, the place where the deceased died should be disinfected as soon as possible and the place should be well surrounded after the burial. On the other hand, according to the guidelines , equal care should be taken even if a patient suspected of having corona disease dies. By contacting the IEDCR, the trained personnel will come from there and take a saliva sample from the mouth of the deceased to confirm whether the deceased was infected with corona or not. The instructions say that the body of a Corona patient should never be autopsied. And when a corpse is cremated, the corona virus does not spread from the remains or ashes.
