Nargis Asar Khanam (Syeda Khatun) is the first wife of rebellious poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. The poet is his shadow ; East wind ; Chakrabak wrote many poems in the book centering on Nargis. Of Chayanat's 50 poems , he wrote nine poems centered on Nargis, including " Bedna Abhiman" ; " Abelaya " ; " Har Mana Har" ; " Anadrita" ; " Haramani" ; Manas Badhu ; Nargis Asar Khanam is the daughter of Asmatunnesa of Khan Bari in Daulatpur village under Muradnagar police station in Comilla district. Her father's name is Munshi Abdul Khaleq . Nazrul's marriage was arranged by Nazrul. Nazrul also liked Nargis and agreed to the marriage. At that time Ali Akbar Khan would not send any letter to Nazrul from any of his friends in Kolkata or even remove Nazrul's letter before it was posted in Calcutta.
