Lake Tabaria (Hebrew: יָם, Judo-Aramaic:דטבריא , _, Arabic:Sea of Tabria) , Sea of Galilee , Kinnaret or Kinnareth , একটি a freshwater lake in Israel . It is the lowest freshwater lake in the world and the 2nd lowest lake (after the Dead Sea , a saltwater lake) , which is about 215 m (605 ft) below sea level and 209 m (8 ft) below. It is about 53 km (33 m) in circumference , about 21 km (13 m) long , and 13 km (6.1 m) wide. It has a maximum active volume of about 16.6 km2 (64.4 m2) and a maximum depth of 43 m (141 ft). The main source of water for the lake is the Jordan River , which flows from north to south.
