Scientific and revolutionary ideas changed the outlook and conduct of the European people by the end of the eighteenth century. The Industrial Revolution took place in England and spread over to other European nations. The Reformation led to the Protestant movement led by Martin Luther which further helped capitalism and scientific thinking.
