Why is energy required for all activities ? How can energy be generated ? Explain. -SST 10th

1 Answer

Answer :

1. Energy is the basic unit required for any kind of work or activity. We need energy to perform the various activities such as cooking, providing heat and light, drive vehicles and machinery in industries.  2. Energy can be divided into - conventional and nonconventional sources of energy. These resources play an important role in providing energy to various sectors of the economy. 3. Energy can be generated from conventional sources such as coal, petroleum, natural gas, firewood, and cattle dung as well as non-conventional sources such as solar energy, wind energy. atomic energy, and tidal energy and so on.
