sevin...from the lawn & garden store......read label carefully to make sure your tree is included in the list.........wear old long clothes, hat, mask, gloves and goggles.....when going to spray these bushes.......keep all children & pets away from this until it dries.....in 2 days you will know if whatever it is is dead.......If you decide to lightly trim this bush, have a big trash can lined with a plastic can liner and hold, cut and drop into can.  don't drop it into the bush......repeat this according to the directions on the can...you can use this on other plants and trees...just read the label...I do not like to use this on food products Use dormant oil according to directions in late fall............that smothers any eggs
