Answer :

I agree - squash bugs.  You need to get rid of them ASAP or you'll lose your plants.  I'm a diehard organic gardener but squash bugs are the one thing that will make me break down and dust the plants with bit of Sevin Dust.  I hate the stuff with a passion but usually, one application is all it takes, thank heavens.
