Answer :

I could be apple.....maybe needs lime & fertilizer in the fall and spring to catch up.  You also could cut a small branch and take it to the lawn & garden center to ask them if your thoughts of apple are correct.  If you do find out that it is apple.....then a test of the soil would be needed....that is when I found out we need lots of lime...ph should be 5.0-6.5..............test first....................
