My five foot sago palms got frostbite and dnow the crowns are rotting and mushy. Is it gone or can I treat it>

I would wait & see if new growth starts at the bottom.  Don't trim it yet.  next time frost warnings wrap this plant to save it.  Good luck with this plant.
