Answer :

I wouldn’t tell my younger self that my mum has a brain tumour. The doctors said when they found it that it had probably been growing for more than a decade, but that it was only very recently that they developed the medical techniques to be able to treat it. Even with the better techniques she was only given a 5% chance of living more than a year, but 6 years on she’s very much beat the odds. I really think things worked out as well as the possibly could have, and knowing earlier wouldn’t have helped
