answer:It’s normal for it to have some spots. They could be bruised or just a little bit of natural discoloration. I’ve eaten artichokes which have had the little brown specks on them and I was fine afterward. Can you scrape the bumps off or do they wipe away if you touch them? If so, and this is gross, they could be little bugs or poop from the bugs. If they’re actually part of the leaf though, I wouldn’t worry too much about it, as long as the rest of the leaf has a pretty nice green color.
