If you lived under my roof, you wouldn’t be spending much time anywhere else for a while. You would be spending a whole lot more time with your English homework, particularly the classes you missed when they were teaching you how to spell and how to punctuate. The boyfriend would also be “persona non grata” around here for a while and his parents would know about the transgression, as well as the lucky break the cop gave you.
