Do you agree with the saying "It only takes one to win" ?

1 Answer

Answer :

Yup. Simple probability dictates that having more tickets means you have a greater chance of having a ticket number that you own be the one that’s pulled. “It only takes one to win” is a marketing phrase used to get your donation into the raffle. Well, it’s also a true slogan. It does only take one raffle ticket to win, but that’s because of the nature of raffles. It’s stating the obvious in a way to make you excited. Personally, I never participate in raffles. I’ll take one sure dollar over two maybe dollars anyday.
