My standard remains Blue Mountian Lake in the Adirondacks of Northern NY. The water is the most beautiful shade of indigo and you drive out of the mountians (Not big ones) and see the lake and the hills around it.

I'll pay the bucks to be downtown so I can walk to places and go out at night for a snack or to take in the ... to. To me, the extra bucks are dollars well spent.
