answer:Early 70´s to late 80´s. and what made it good was talent. people actually had talent and had get to the top by going out there and making them selves known. none of this xfactor crap. in the 70’s and 80’s people made music for others to listen to, by the 90’s, it had become a business. The music that is made today is mostly crap, and i have some evidence to support my claim. in the 1900’s, kids did not like what adults listened to and vice versa. in the 1920’s it was the same. in the 1950’s it was also the same, parents did not like what their kids listened to, and vice versa. in the 1970’s, it was the same. and when it got to the 80’s (my generation) it was still the same, my parents hated metallica and the stuff i used to listen to. but now, now all the young kids are walking around listening to the same stuff i used to listen to as a kid. they have music from their generation, but a lot of them just dont like it. they rather listen to nirvana and ac/dc. so, to me, this is evidence that music now days is mostly just crap. pumped out with the sole intention to make money.
