Of course. It balances the serious side out. Most times the uber silly stuff starts when someone makes a gaff during a serious statement. As long as the majority follow the path to silliness, it rolls downhill fast. The most absurd ones have been on business trips after a long difficult day and you need to break away from it. Many of the people I seem to surround myself with have this dry silly wit side of them too. There always seems to be one person that is naive enough to not get it and it perpetuates from there.
