I think this issue needs immediate, professional attention. It seems it is behavioral issue and I would strongly advise having him seen by a family therapist. If he was 5 or under I might not be as concerned, but at almost 8, clearly, he needs some sort of evaluation, both physical and mental. Best wishes.
