answer:Have you swapped chargers? That’s the first thing I would do. The charger itself has a relay that detects whether there is a draw for power from the laptop. My guess is that it is detecting a “I don’t need it” signal from the laptop and therefore is turning off. Either the relay in the charger is bad, or the power regulator in the laptop is bad. Swap out the charger first, because that’s cheaper to replace.
