answer:I have had this happen to me. I calmly explained to him that I never had called him and that someone must have been “spoofing” my number. Calls can be spoofed so that it looks like the call originated from a different number, usually a random one. Looks like you just got unlucky. Luckily, it was was a guy calling the man who called me, an I’m female, so he took me at my work and apologized for calling me and I never heard from him again.
