answer:I haven’t had much luck with local restaurants, so I tend to stick to chains. I don’t mind the wait or the noise as long as the food is good. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience at our Outback, Longhorn, or Carrabba’s. Some chains are hit and miss – Olive Garden (mostly hit), Applebee’s (mostly miss), and Chili’s (50/50). The closest thing to a local restaurant that we frequent is Hwy 55, which isn’t exactly home-owned, but not nearly as widespread as the others I mentioned. What’s to lose? Money, and an enjoyable night out. Crappy food automatically puts me in a crappy mood. I hate spending money and not getting something good in return.
