Can organs from people who had lethal injection be used?

1 Answer

Answer :

answer:My understanding is that lethal injection kills because it suppresses breathing and stops the heart from beating. I don’t think it causes any organ damage at all. This is something I’ve wondered too, given the organ shortage. I think if a prisoner is eligible for organ donation and they die, I think their organs should be donated with or without their consent. Lethal injection does supposedly have some pain for some people. Bullet to the head would be way better but apparently that’s too violent in the public eye. Lethal injection looks more “peaceful” but it’s really not.
