Not that they are always mutually exclusive, but… The public education institution has decided it must a) distinguish between the two and b) try to influence everybody into the latter but as a concession make everybody team players as if that was satisfying the interests of the former. Adults can make decisions based on objective truth, not indoctrination. I aced kindergarten without help. It went downhill after that.
