Advantages of voltage divider bias

The circuit operation is independent of the transistor current gain β.

· The resistors help to give complete control over the voltage and current.

· The emitter resistor, Re, allows for stability of the gain of the transistor, despite fluctuations in the β values.

· Operating point stabilized against shift in temperature.

· Operating point is almost independent of β variation
