There are numerous risk factors for Cardiovascular disease. Some of them are controllable while some are not. Ones you can not control include, age, sex, and family genetic history. As you get older you are at higher risk. Controllable factors include, smoking, physical activity, cholesterol levels, being over weight. You do have control over these.
