It depends on how good at sports you are and if you would be successful. You need to set your goals for what you want from life. There is no guarantee that you could make a profession out of your sport. Only 1% of athletes get a pro contract and that isn't very much. Think about your strengths and weaknesses in helping you decide what to do. Make a list of these for yourself. Do what is best for you.
