The reasons are usually that it either was inappropriate foryounger readers or that it was advertising a business. Sinceprofile pictures show on every question that you answer, they needto be free of inappropriate material or advertising.The larger banner picture that only shows on your profile pagecan have business information in it if you like (though not illegalor deceptive material still), although those pages are not indexedby Google (nofollow), so the only people who will see them arepeople who read your answers and choose to go there.If you feel that your profile picture has been deleted in error,please write to support @ answers.com (no spaces).
