Are lines of longitude parallel?

1 Answer

Answer :

No. All meridians of longitude converge (meet, come together) atthe north pole andat the south pole. If there's any other place where they're notall together, then theycan't be parallel. Everywhere else except at the poles, theyspread all the way aroundthe Earth. So they're not parallel.
