How can I get Honor 10 Features to my old Honor View 10 from Huawei?

I have been researching this and working on a phone from a friend. It isn't possible to do this. I have tried every trick in the book to get these features on the phone, but they don't work. The only way to actually have them is to upgrade your phone. It is a shame because some of the new features are nice and it would be great if they worked on the phone. They are in the software and only seem to work on the newer phones and you can't get them to set up correctly on the older model of the phone.
